These Terms of Sale apply to consumer purchases made through hokawalking.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order and keep a copy for your records. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
1. Placing an Order
Select your products, choose the required size and complete checkout. Before submitting your order, review the items, quantities, delivery address, payment details and total price.
Please provide accurate contact information so we can communicate with you about your purchase. You must be authorised to use the payment method selected.
2. Order Acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy the selected goods. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order; it does not, by itself, constitute acceptance.
We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation. If items are dispatched separately, acceptance applies to the products identified in each confirmation.
If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any payment collected for the unaccepted items without undue delay.
3. Product Information
Goods must match their description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for any particular purpose you make known to us and we accept.
Please read the information for the specific model before purchasing. Size guides offer general guidance, and fit can vary between models and individuals.
Product images illustrate the goods. Screen settings may affect colour appearance, but this does not excuse a material difference from the agreed description. We will not substitute another product without your agreement.
4. Prices and Payment
The currency, product prices, delivery charges and applicable taxes collected at checkout are displayed before you confirm your purchase.
Available payment options are shown at checkout. Follow any verification instructions from your bank or payment provider.
If we identify a pricing error before accepting your order, we will explain the correct price and ask whether you wish to proceed or cancel. We will not charge an increased amount without your agreement.
5. Delivery
Delivery destinations, available services and estimated timeframes are provided before purchase. Check your address carefully and contact us promptly if a correction is needed.
We will deliver within the agreed period. If no period is agreed, delivery must take place without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made. Your remedies for late delivery may include setting an appropriate additional deadline or ending the contract where the statutory conditions are met. www.gov.uk
Where we arrange delivery, goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you nominate to receive them. Different rules may apply if you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer. www.legislation.gov.uk
6. Your Right to Cancel
For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. If products from one order arrive separately, the period generally runs from receipt of the last item.
Notify us clearly using the contact details published on the website. You must then send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us. Prior approval is not required.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. A lawful deduction may apply for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
You bear direct return postage only where this was disclosed before purchase and we have not agreed to cover it. Further instructions appear on our Returns and Order Cancellation pages. www.legislation.gov.uk
7. Cancellation Refunds
We refund statutory cancellations without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline.
Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive them back or you provide evidence of sending them back, whichever happens first. We will refund within 14 days of that earlier event.
If no goods have been supplied, we will refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. For cancellation of the whole order, the refund includes standard outbound delivery charges. Additional costs for a premium delivery service need not be refunded.
Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. No refund fee will be charged. www.legislation.gov.uk
8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Contact us if goods arrive damaged, are faulty or do not match their description. Include your order reference and explain the problem. Photographs may help us investigate but are not a condition of your statutory rights.
Qualifying faulty goods generally carry a 30-day short-term right to reject. After that period, repair or replacement rights may apply, followed where appropriate by a price reduction or final right to reject.
We cover reasonable necessary return costs for valid statutory claims. Discounted products retain the same statutory quality rights as full-price goods. www.legislation.gov.uk
9. Changes to Your Order
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change an item, size or delivery address. Whether an amendment is possible depends on the order’s progress.
If a requested change cannot be made, you may need to cancel or return the original purchase and place a new order. Any new purchase is subject to the prices, offers and availability applying at that time.
If a problem affects our ability to fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you to discuss a lawful resolution and any refund due.
10. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.
Your statutory rights concerning goods, delivery and remedies remain unaffected.
11. Personal Information
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you purchase from us or contact customer support. Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies.
12. Changes, Questions and Disputes
Changes to these terms apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively alter existing contracts without a lawful basis or your agreement.
Applicable law and court jurisdiction are determined by the relevant legal rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections or access to courts available to you under those rules.
For questions or complaints, use the contact details published on hokawalking.co.uk and include your order number.
Before publication, confirm that the acceptance wording matches your checkout process and provide the seller’s legal identity, geographical address and contact details with the required pre-contract information.
